YTT provides an API service for extracting transcripts from YouTube videos. Our service allows developers and businesses to programmatically retrieve video transcripts for various purposes including content analysis, accessibility, and research.

3. Account Registration

To use our service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits and Payment

  • Each API request consumes one credit from your balance
  • Free accounts receive 5 credits upon registration
  • Additional credits can be purchased through our pricing plans
  • Credits never expire and are non-refundable once purchased
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Share or resell API access to third parties without authorization
  • Use automated tools to abuse or overload our systems
  • Extract transcripts for content you do not have rights to use
  • Violate YouTube's Terms of Service or any applicable laws

6. API Usage

API keys are provided for your personal or business use only. You must keep your API keys secure and not share them publicly. We reserve the right to revoke API access for any account that violates these terms or engages in abusive behavior.

7. Intellectual Property

The transcripts retrieved through our service are sourced from YouTube videos. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you extract. YTT does not claim ownership of the transcript content and is not responsible for any copyright issues arising from your use of the extracted content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that transcripts will be accurate, complete, or available for all videos. Transcript availability depends on YouTube's systems and video settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

YTT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Any unused credits may be forfeited upon account termination for cause.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
